The acupuncture needles used by EnPointe Acupuncture are solid, hair-thin, sterile, single-use and disposable. Some people feel a small prick as the needle passes through the skin, but many don’t feel anything at all. After insertion of the needles, patients may experience different energetic sensations such as a heaviness, slight ache, warmth or pressure as the needle activates the bodily healing functions. Many patients describe the sensation as an unfamiliar but pleasant and relaxing feeling.
